Individual Counselling

Some experiences are difficult to deal with alone. Whether you are dealing with the stress of moving to a new country, job search, dealing with unemployment, being a parent, losing a loved one, feeling stuck or lost in life, facing relationship issues or simply want to grow in life - we are here for you.

  1. We first try to understand what it is that you want or need out of the sessions

  2. Based on this, we set a goal together.

  3. Using various counselling techniques, we will identify the different thought patterns and also help you understand the different emotions and coping strategies.

  4. Together, we will understand the problem better; identify values, skills, strengths, and external factors which can help you and; identify different ways that you can use these resources outside the sessions.

Who can seek therapy?

Therapy is for everyone. Regardless of your gender, ethnic or economical background. You could be looking for self-improvement, improving relationships, heal from trauma, manage stress & anxiety or simply want to focus on your overall wellbeing.

Do you prescribe medicines or give diagnoses?

We don't prescribe medications or diagnose conditions. If we feel our clients would benefit from visiting a licensed professional, we guide them to take the necessary steps.

What therapy approach do you use?

Depending on the issues we discuss and goals we set during our session, we use different counselling techniques from Narrative therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).  â€‹
