Workshop to support expats of different nationalities in Sweden at International House Gothenburg to increase resilience, develop coping strategies and deal with loneliness, anxiety and depression.

Immigrant Support

Mental health support is key to successful immigrant integration. We provide a safe and supportive environment for immigrants to build resilience and overcome the challenges they face.

Relocating to a new country is tough. As internationals ourselves, we understand the struggles and needs of fellow internationals. The frustration and stress of dealing with permits. The confusion of starting a family and raising kids in a new culture. The anxiety of looking for a job or being unemployed in a new country. The feeling of being an imposter and outsider in work and social culture that one does not understand completely.

Our immigrant support services are designed to support the mental health of the international community. We offer group sessions, workshops, and consultations for companies to better support their international employees and families.

If you are an individual who is an international and would like to seek support, you can book our individual counselling session.

Through our collaborations with organizations, we build projects and programs that aim to improve integration for internationals in the Swedish society, support internationals in common challenges they face when moving to new country.

Get in touch today and let's talk about how we can together support the international community!

What Participants Say

The two hours of the workshop, during which we interacted and shared experiences, flew by with emotional ups and downs. Besides Vini's presentation, we learned from each other, and most importantly, we found out that we are not alone.
I left the workshop with many takeaways.

I am grateful to Vini Doshi for providing an excellent workshop on "Managing the Expat Blues." I learned about the different types of expat blues, adaptive coping strategies, building emotional strength, and how to have self-awareness and mental well-being.

I found it very beneficial and interesting. It made me consider some things that maybe I had not yet taken the time to observe, and help me be more prepared for the tricky "crisis" and modes of coping and adapting.
